December 2017 and run until approximately March of 2019.
These new meters will support the City’s goal of reduced water consumption laid out in the St. Albert Environmental Master Plan. The meters will make it easier for the City and residents to
monitor water consumption levels and provide more accurate and beneficial information and billing.
To facilitate the installations, the City has contracted Neptune Technology Group (Canada) Ltd. to upgrade or replace all residential and business water meters. The installations will be carried out on an area by area basis until all locations have been serviced. The City is holding two Public Information Sessions at St. Albert Place on November 29 and 30th, between 3 to 8 p.m. Residents are invited to join St. Albert and Neptune Technology Group representatives who will provide information on the functionality of the water meters and how they will benefit the community.
