Cross-industry collaboration and innovation capacity are critical to propel Alberta’s future success. On November 30, public and private sector leaders will gather together at a networking conference like no other, featuring insights about innovation, collaboration and for diversifying Alberta's economy. The conference, presented by the Alberta Council of Technologies (an Alliance Member) is designed for Albertans with a stake in the future and engaging those who know the issues and proposing bold options.
- Diversification - an Alberta resilient to crude shocks.
- Creativity - the convergence of arts, ethics and emerging technologies.
- Transitioning - integrating energy, environment and the economy
"Smart Cities - Going Global" Session
The conference will also feature a session with the cities of Edmonton and St. Albert, regarding the Alliance’s recently completed ‘investment and intelligence initiative’ to Europe where it focused on the global value of Smart Cities. Each city will speak, a dynamic panel discussion will also be held on roles in driving local innovation, and small group breakouts will be hosted on specific related topics.
