Esri Canada is pleased to host the Smart Communities Leadership Forum. This is your exclusive invitation to attend this executive event that will demonstrate what it takes to become a smart community.
All communities aspire to be a desirable and thriving place where people want to live, work, play, and/or visit. Every community may be different, but all share common operational traits and rely on real-time intelligence for evidence-based decision-making, more effective collaboration and public engagement.
You will hear from our special guest speaker, Christina Crabtree, Director of Information Services from the City of Maple Ridge. Christina will share her forward-thinking strategy for the City’s vision for a smart community, and will speak to the key initiatives and expected outcomes.
This will be followed by an interactive roundtable discussion on:
- How to transform government and communities: this discussion will focus on trends and issues, innovating government; problems, priorities and solutions
- Introduction to a Smart Community concept: how your aspirations can help build a smart community and why it’s important to inform, listen, monitor and engage with your community
- Review of Smart Communities organizations: we’ll take a look at a few Canadian examples of how to build a smart community
